The Genesis of Mission Tibidabo
Mission Tibidabo was born from shared conversations between independent law firms and lawyers across multiple jurisdictions, each of which recognised that space law is not a standalone discipline but a transversal practice area requiring expertise in regulatory law, corporate structuring, intellectual property, data protection, cybersecurity, and cross-border transactions.
Unlike academic committees or bar association working groups, Mission Tibidabo was founded by practitioners whose primary purpose is to do business together as a trusted referral network. Our members are working lawyers who advise agencies, operators, and investors on live matters every day.
The name "Tibidabo" refers to the highest mountain in Barcelona, the network's headquarters city, where members gather for regular meetings, strategy sessions, and conference participation. From a hill above the city, a network with a planetary remit.

What We Believe
Space law demands practitioners, not only academics.
The challenges of the new space economy, including licensing, liability, spectrum coordination, and in-orbit servicing, require lawyers who are embedded in the industry, not observing it from a distance.
No single jurisdiction can serve the space industry alone.
Launch, operations, data flows, and insurance span multiple legal systems. Coordinated cross-border advice is not a luxury. It is a necessity.
Clients deserve a pre-vetted, trusted network.
Rather than ad hoc referrals to unknown firms, Mission Tibidabo offers clients access to practitioners who have already been selected for their expertise, integrity, and commitment to collaboration.

Barcelona: Our Home
A gathering point for the network.
Anchored in Catalonia and connected outward, the city offers neutral ground for cross-border collaboration: a working base where members host clients, convene with counterparts from other jurisdictions, and contribute to international conferences and panel discussions shaping the future of space law and policy.
